NGCCI coordinates Nepal’s participation at the CMT 2014 International Tourism Fair in Stuttgart, Germany
Nepal German Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( NGCCI ) in cooperation with Nepal Tourism Board ( NTB ) coordinated Nepal’s participation at the Caravan, Motors and Tourism (CMT) 2014 International Tourism Fair held from January 11-19, 2014 in New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre in Stuttgart, Germany. Nepal made its active presence in Nepal Stand: Hall No. 4 B 11 in this fair.
Nepal Stand in CMT 2014
CMT 2014 went outstandingly well both in the tourism and caravanning section. CMT, with more than 2,000 exhibitors from 90 countries, is Germany’s largest caravanning motors and tourism fair. It is one of the Europe’s largest leisure and tourism consumer fairs with a combination of motor and caravanning show held in Stuttgart, Germany every year. Around 300 thousand visitors visited this year’s CMT. Serbia and the Dominican Republic were the two partner countries for this year’s CMT.

High level government officials of Nepal Mr. Madhav Prasad Regmi, Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies, the Joint Secretaries of the Government of Nepal Mr. Sishir Dhungana, Mr. Deepak Subedi and Mr. Jeet Bahadur Thapa, and Mr. Prakash Mani Paudel, Charge d`affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Nepal, Berlin, Germany were also present in the Nepal Stand on the inauguration day of the fair. Mr. Keshab Prasad Bimali, Under Secretary of Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation attended the fair as an observer.
